The Pool Renovation Guy

We have a large much loved 28 year old pool which Hans was confident he would be able to refurbish alone. It was a big ask but he did a great job. We found him to be very knowledgeable and always on time. Nothing was too hard and we definitely made the right choice in using him. I would recommend Hans for all jobs big or small. He will not disappoint.

After a large crack in our pool caused it to lose half its water overnight Hans came to the rescue with bracing, leak repair and resurfacing of the pool. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and we are really happy with the quality of the leak repair and resurfacing. I would only warn other customers to be prepared for a LOT of blue dust everywhere which is a side effect of fibreglass removal.

They extremely professional, offered excellent advice and was very knowledgeable. They took the time out to explain thoroughly what was required and how best to maintain our pool. For this visit they replaced our pump, salt water chlorinator and a new pool blanket and next year we have booked them in to remove our tired old vinyl lining and create a fibre glass coating.I would have no problem recommending them for all things pool related.

Hans and his team completed a full renovation of our +25 year old fibreglass pool, including fitting of new lights to modernise it. Hans is knowledgeable, professional and his advice was spot on. Hans and his team were very polite, hard working and were able to keep everything remarkably tidy given that it is a rather messy task. Our pool is over 20yrs old and it needed to be resurfaced, painted and had a lot of air bubbles on the walls that needed patching. We got a few quotes from other companies and found them to be extremely expensive, we also felt they really weren't interested in doing the job or answering our questions until we met Hans, The Pool Renovation Guy.Hans was easy to understand and very knowledgable about his work and answered all our questions without any problems. He was also the cheapest which we thought was coincidental.Hans was very efficient and carried out the job with no problems at all, he is very friendly, honest and was on time and kept us informed daily of what was going to be done. We had a crack in middle step of our fibreglass pool. Rang Hans and he was here the next day. He was very professional and polite and did a fantastic job repairing our pool and replacing our light. I am over the moon with the incredible work Hans and his team completed on our below ground pool. The workmanship was beyond my expectations, and I feel like I have a brand new pool. They worked long days, and in the heat, to get the job done. At the end of the job, the backyard was left clean and tidy, and looked incredible. Although I did receive some slightly cheaper quotes, we went with the Pool Renovation Guy as he was responsive, on-time and took the time to explain each step and what to expect along the way. The next available slot was some months away and work started on-time on the date initially booked. Hans and his team did a great job and were really good with our kids, showing them what they were doing and chatting with them along the way. When we had some trouble starting everything back up afterwards Hans came out on his weekend to and sorted it out. I just went for my first swim since the renovation and it's a whole new pool - would definitely recommend.

Renovate or Detonate!We chose renovate, but the hardest part is finding a tradesman you can trust, Hans is great.Our pool was leaking, making it impossible to get the water balance right and stop it going green. On his first visit the leak was sorted so we could keep the pool clean in the lead up to renovation.Our renovation was quick, clean and professional. We now have a fabulous looking pool, with a new skimmer box and LED light all ready for summer.We highly recommend Hans’s workmanship and the great results achieved!
